The most reliable method to obtain a Scorpion Carp in Stardew Valley is by fishing with a high-quality fishing rod in the ponds of the Calico Desert. Unlike some other fish in Stardew Valley, Scorpion Carps can be caught regardless of the season at any time between 6 am to 8 pm as long as you’re on Fishing Level 4 or above.

The Calico Desert area is located on the northwestern side of Pelican Town and can be unlocked by completing the Vault Bundles at the Community Center or by purchasing the “Bus Repair” option from Joja Community Development Form.

You can find the Traveling Cart in the Cindersap Forest every Friday and Sunday. The Cart offers a random selection of items for you to purchase on every visit.
