To get the Shrine Sensors, you must complete the Hateno Village Research Lab quest. Before attempting this, ensure you have completed the Camera Work in the Depths and A Mystery in the Depths quests. Once you complete these, you will get the camera and the Autobuild ability.

With the Autobuild ability, you can repair Robbie's hot air balloon. Once you have done it, interact with him to initiate the quest.

Follow Robbie to the Hateno Village, which is just south of Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. The coordinates of the same are (3608, -2163, 0176). Once you reach this place, find the research lab at the top of the village.

Talk to Robbie again, as now he will upgrade your Purah Pad with the brand new Shrine Sensor. However, the quest just starts here, so hold your horses before exploring. You will need to find a nearby Shrine of Light to prove to Robbie that his creation actually works.

As mentioned earlier, Robbie will send you to find a nearby Shine of Light. However, it is located just under you. Leave the research lab and look down to find a cave on your right covered in rocks. It will be located behind a field of apple trees.

Destroy the rocks with a hammer-type weapon, or use a remote bomb to open the cave entrance. Now it is just a simple walk to the end of the cave under the guidance of your newly installed sensor. Return to Robbie once you find the Mayahisik Shrine to finally obtain the Shrine Sensor.

Additionally, Robbie will give you three more objectives to fulfill. Completing these will grant you extra upgrades for your Purah Pad. One of these requires you to click pictures of five monsters with your camera. Once you accomplish this, Robbie will upgrade your Shrine Sensor to a brand new Shrine Sensor+ in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
