How to get Smoke Bomb Compressor in Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws grants Kay Vess the ability to wield multiple tools to overcome difficult combat challenges. While Kay’s main weapon is a Blaster, she can equip various other tools to gain the upper hand in combat. Likewise, the Smoke Bomb ability is an early game tool you can equip on your Speeder during your journey.

However, you must first locate an item called the Smoke Bomb Compressor to unlock Smoke Bombs and use them in combat. This article will help you find the Smoke Bomb Compressor in Star Wars Outlaws.

Where to find Smoke Bomb Compressor in Star Wars Outlaws

The Smoke Bomb Compressor is hidden inside a cave in the Boulder Forest area on Toshara. To find it, make your way to Boulder Forest and travel to the Imperial base in the area. Once there, you should be able to spot a cave entrance on the left side of the road.

Head inside the cave and follow the path on the left using your Grappling and climbing abilities. Navigate cautiously through the wind currents and keep progressing steadily. Eventually, you will reach a door with a continuous wind current.

Take a left from the door to find a generator and use the Ion mode on your blaster to turn it on. Doing so will stop the wind currents, allowing you to proceed through the area.

Continue on the path to encounter another generator with two levers on its left. Ask Nix to grab one while you hold the other. Then, pull them together to open the door.

Go through the rest of the area and use the elevator at the very end. Once you reach the exit, you will find an item container you can interact with to pick up the Smoke Bomb Compressor.

How to unlock the Smoke Bomb ability

To unlock the Smoke Bomb skill for your Speeder, you will need the following items:

• 1x Smoke Bomb Compressor
• 7x Polycarbonate
• 3x MG-2 Power Exceeder

If you already have the required amount of Polycarbonate and MG-2 Power Exceeder in your inventory, simply open the Abilities Tab and go to The Mechanic skill tree. Here, you can unlock the Smoke Bomb ability and use it anywhere while driving your Speeder in Star Wars Outlaws.
