What separates Stardrop Tea from other gifts in the game is that it can be gifted as many times as you desire, unlike other items. It can be can be gifted to increase friendship levels with villagers. Moreover, it can not be consumed to regenerate energy.

To take your gifting game to another level, make sure to offer Stardrop Tea to a character on their birthday or during the Winter Star festival. Doing so will increase your friendship by 3 hearts. You can also gift this tea to people alongside another present to boost your friendship level even more.

How to get Stardrop Tea in Stardew Valley

There are two ways to get your hands on the Stardrop Tea in Stardew Valley. The first one is by finding it by opening gold chests during your fishing ventures. The other way is to obtain it from the Mayor's house from the prize machine.

If you stumble across a gold chest while fishing, there is a slim chance of receiving Stardrop Tea (only 7 percent) from the chest as a reward. However, you need to have excellent fishing skills in the game to do so. Furthermore, this process can be very time-consuming despite having good fishing skills.

The other way to get it is via the prize machine in the Mayor's house. You can find this machine on the left side once you enter the Mayor's manor. Using tickets, you can redeem various prizes including the Stardrop Tea. Even though it entirely depends on your luck if you get the tea or not, this method is quite easy compared to the previous one. All you need to do is complete various quests and win at the Egg and Ice festivals in Stardew Valley to receive tickets to use at the prize machine.
