How to get the Texan shotgun in Stalker 2

The Texan shotgun is a Unique weapon in Stalker 2, and one of the few that cannot be looted from regular enemies. It can only be acquired by completing side missions or by locating them at a particular spot on the map of Chornobyl. It is an incredible close-range weapon that players can use with their primary weapon to create a varied arsenal.

How to acquire the Texan shotgun in Stalker 2

You'll find this shotgun in the Jupiter region. If you haven't reached Prypiat yet, be sure to bring a good chunk of anti-radiation medications, as the radiation can be fatal for you here.

To reach Jupiter from the Yaniv region, travel to the east of the Yaniv Station base, where you'll find a group of defunct trains. Move through them and you'll discover the Jupiter region. Explore the region to unlock the fast travel point located at the Enerhetyk Palace of Culture. You can locate that by going northwest and then taking a sharp right turn.

Following this, go south from there to find the abandoned science bunker location on the map. Visit the bunker to the left of it on the map in Stalker 2. Climb the stairs, head inside the bunker, and take a left. Take a right, then take a left again. The prized shotgun will be located on the table beside some steel equipment, to the left of a blue safe.

The Texan Shotgun is a modified version of the RAM-2, an already incredible shotgun in Stalker 2. However, the upgraded version provides a higher range and accuracy than the original, making it your personal weapon of doom. It can also make for a great defensive weapon due to its near-perfect rate of fire, allowing you to fire shots in quick succession.

While it is a really heavy weapon, its damage output is worth the extra baggage.
