How to get Tulletail in Infinity Nikki

Tulletail is a rare fish in Infinity Nikki that can only be found in the Abandoned District area. Tulletail is used to craft certain outfits in the game, which can be equipped on Nikki. In order to obtain Tulletail, you need to unlock the Fishing Ability and its corresponding Rippling Serenity fishing outfit. Since the Tulletail fish is located only in the Abandoned District, you need to have the Abandoned District area unlocked on your map.

Tulletail can be found only in the westernmost Abandoned District island in Infinity Nikki. To get to this fishing spot, teleport to the Stellar Ground Fishing Trail War Spire and make your way to the area marked on the map.

Keep in mind that you cannot go fishing for Tulletail until you complete Chapter 4: Attention! Faewish Sprite Spotted of the main quest, which will unlock this particular island in the Abandoned District.

How to get Tulletail

After you reach this particular fishing spot, follow these steps to catch the Tulletail fish:

1) Switch to the fishing ability

Open the ability wheel (accessed by pressing TAB on PC) and switch to the Rippling Serenity Fishing Outfit. Alternatively, you can also press the corresponding number on your keyboard (the default shortcut for Fishing is 3) to quickly swap to the Fishing Ability.

2) Start fishing

Walk up to the fishing spot, and press the right mouse button to start fishing. Every fishing spot in Infinity Nikki has three fish, which can generally be caught in order of their rarity. This means that you will catch the common fish first, with the rare/special fish being the third (and last) to be caught.

Catch the first two common fish before casting your fishing rod for the third time. The Tulletail will take the bait, and you need to press the A and D keys in accordance with the prompts shown on the screen to reel in the fish. After you have successfully caught the fish, you will obtain one Tulletail, which will be added to your inventory. You can catch one Tulletail every 24 hours in Infinity Nikki.
