The limited-time game mode that kicks off the festive celebrations in Marvel Rivals is vastly different from the typical capturing-the-point-or-pushing-a-payload-esque mode from the game's normal playlist. You and a few other players will take on the role of Jeff the Land Shark (all dressed up in his winter attire) and then duke it out against the opponent teams.

Your team of Jeffs will be tasked with defeating the opponent team by covering the maximum part of the map with your splash.

Taking a page from Splatoon's book, this mode allows players to paint the ground with their team's color. This can be done by using Jeff's abilities, primary fire, and his ultimate. His ultimate will cover a large circular area around the point of activation, making it easier to gain a hand over your opponents.

You will need to cover more area than the opposite team in the given time to win the round. A bar will indicate each team's capture progress, and you will need to get the job done using the various tools in your arsenal. Additionally, you can take out your opponents using your attacks and make their job a bit more difficult.

This event will be available in the Arcade Playlist for a limited time, from December 20, 2024 (00:00 UTC), likely through the first week of January 2025.
