Follow these steps to join a clan in Clash of Clans:
- To join a clan, it is first necessary to rebuild the Clan Castle. Fixing it will allow players to find and join clans, and interact with clan members. The cost of fixing the clan castle is 10,000 elixir.
- Search for a clan by selecting the clan castle, available in the village. You will be able to sort things like, minimum trophies or the Townhall level required, the origin of the clan, language of the clan, etc.
- If a clan has 'Anyone Can Join' written in the description, players can join it immediately by clicking the Join button.
- If 'Invite only' is written in the description, send a join request. The leader and co-leader(s) may accept the request if you fulfill the criteria.
How to create a clan in Clash of Clans
Another way to join a clan in Clash of Clans is to create one. The player who creates the clan is designated as the leader and has the power to promote, demote, and kick out other members.
- To create a clan, the Clan Castle needs to be rebuilt. Additionally, players who are already in a clan cannot form a new one.
- Tap on the Clan Castle and select 'Create Clan'.
- Now add all the necessary details of the clan. The creator gets to select the badge, minimum requirements, description, clan location, and clan language among other things.
- Once all the details are filled, a fee of 40,000 gold has to be paid to finally create the clan.
Note that the leader can transfer the leadership to another member of the clan at any time.
