Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance offers a few ways for you to get strong. Typically you will need to farm mobs you encounter in the world to level up. However, this strategy will become obsolete during the mid and late-game segments.

The best way to level up quickly in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance is by using the Gospels. Generally, Mitamas drops this when you defeat them. Target the Kushi Mitama which has a grayish color tone. Defeating these will drop the Gospels you need to level up in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance. But there is a catch.

Once you engage the Mitamas in battle, you will soon discover that they can block every attack except one. You might even run out of turns before you find its weakness. The way to defeat these Mitamas is to stock an item called Spyglass in your inventory. These can be obtained from exploring the world or can be purchased from Cadaver's Hollow.
