Similar to Atlus’ prior works, the title still has enough content, like bonding with your followers or dungeons, that you can partake in during the gaps between the main story.

Metaphor ReFantazio’s plot unveils over the course of around 55-60 hours if you are purely talking about the main campaign. As the game is an evolution of Persona 5 and much of that franchise, it features a similar calendar system.

The main story can only progress on certain dates. This will leave you with enough downtime to either take on side quests or engage in other activities, given you have tied up that particular part in the main campaign beforehand.
