Warzone 2 veteran JoeWo reveals the "hardest-hitting" primary weapon to use in Warzone Ranked Play
This semi-automatic bullpup battle rifle uses the 6.8 Wrath ammunition, dealing lethal damage with every shot. This ammo type is ideal for long-range engagements. Through the extensive weapon customization options featured in Gunsmith 2.0, JoeWo's recommended "hard-hitting" primary weapon loadout in Warzone 2's Ranked Play can be acquired using:
- Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
- Barrel: HR6.8 Barrel
- Optic: AIM OP-V4
- Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
The Sakin Tread-40 compensator is a muzzle attachment that reduces a weapon's overall recoil by improving vertical recoil control and horizontal recoil control. This ensures better accuracy for prolonged periods of firing. The Sakin Tread-40 can be unlocked by increasing the RAPP H LMG level's to 14.
The HR6.8 Barrel is a long and heavy barrel modification designed specifically for the Cronen Squall. It provides improved long-range accuracy by enhancing this gun's damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control. However, the additional weight from this barrel results in slower player movement speed and ADS speed. The HR6.8 Barrel is unlocked by getting the Cronen Squall's level to 2.
When it comes to optics, players have a vast range of options. However, the AIM OP-V4 red-dot sight is what most competitive players opt for. It provides a clear view and minimal obstruction and can be unlocked by leveling up the BAS-P SMG to 5.
The Edge-47 Grip is an angled grip underbarrel responsible for improving this weapon's aiming idle and recoil stability, providing superior control during periods of sustained fire. The only downside to this attachment is it reduces ADS speed. The Edge-47 angled grip can be unlocked by increasing the M13B level to 16.
Finally, the last attachment to use is the 50 Round Drum magazine, which increases this weapon's ammo capacity from 20 to 50 — enough to take down multiple opponents in Ranked Play.
However, this increased magazine size results in a heavier build and significant reduction in mobility as well as movement, ADS, sprint-to-fire, and reload speeds. The 50 Round Drum can be unlocked by leveling up the Cronen Squall to level 23.
