Preparing Sake Maki in Disney Dreamlight Valley requires you to have a Cooking Station, a piece of Coal, and the following three items:

  • Rice
  • Seaweed
  • Salmon

Once you have all the ingredients, visit any Cooking Station, place the ingredients in the cooking pot, and start the cooking process. The process will consume one unit of Coal after which your Sake Maki will be prepared in a few seconds.

1) Rice

Rice can be purchased at Goofy’s Stall in the Glade of Trust area. Goofy sells Rice seeds for 35 Star Coins which you can plant and harvest to obtain two units of Rice. Alternatively, Goofy’s Stall has a chance to sell fully grown Rice for 92 Star Coins.

The Glade of Trust biome is located on the southwest side of the Valley and can be unlocked by spending 5,000 Dreamlight.


2) Seaweed

Seaweed can be obtained by fishing in any biome's water. To obtain it, simply search for water bodies with no white or golden-colored ripples and cast your Fishing Rod to reel in some Seaweed.

Head to the coastline of the Dazzle Beach biome where you can easily obtain seaweed. If you don’t have the biome unlocked, do so by spending 1,000 Dreamlight.


3) Salmon

Salmon can be trickier to acquire as it is only available in the Sunlit Plateau and Frosted Heights biome. Make your way to the north of Peaceful Meadow to access the Sunlit Plateau. Once there, look for white or blue-colored ripples in the water and cast your Fishing Rod for a chance to reel in Salmon.

The Sunlit Plateau biome is located on the western side of the Valley and can be unlocked for 7,000 Dreamlight while the Frosted Heights biome can be unlocked by spending 10,000 Dreamlight.

How to use Sake Maki in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once crafted, Sake Maki can be sold at any Goofy’s Stall for 323 Star Coins, consumed to restore 1,101 energy points, or gifted to any Disney character in the Valley to improve Friendship level with them.

Additionally, Sake Maki is required during Friend’s Aren’t Food friendship quest from Scar. In the quest, you must prepare one Sake Maki and deliver it to Remy to progress the storyline.
