Apex Legends Season 21, Upheaval was just released a couple of weeks ago and most of the servers are packed with players. As the player count usually skyrockets at the beginning of each season, players will get a better idea about the concurrent players.

At the beginning of Season 21, the player count was around 400K which jumped up to 450K after a couple of days. While the count seems to go down as the season continues, Season 21 can be an exception as it is one of the anticipated seasons because of its release with a brand-new Skirmisher Legend, Alter, and the reprised Broken Moon.

The player count also went down when the developers introduced the new Ranked system in season 19, which cost Respawn Entertainment a significant amount of players. This drop compelled the developers to revert to the old Ranked system with rank-based matchmaking to bring back the players.
