Candy Crush Saga's developer regularly releases new levels for the game to keep things interesting. As of now, the title boasts 17180 levels across 1146 episodes.

Players’ main objective in Candy Crush Saga is simple. They have to match three or more candies of the same color to clear them from the board. Each level consists of a board that fits into a 9x9 matrix. The levels become more complex as the game progresses.

The levels are also organized into episodes. Each episode has a particular number of levels.

The game has a variety of level types, like Jelly Levels, Ingredients Levels, Candy Order Levels, and Rainbow Rapids Levels. Two more levels called Moves Levels and Timed Levels were once available in the game but were removed a couple of years ago.

Here are the different level types available in the title now:

1. Jelly Levels - First encountered in level 8, Jelly Levels require players to clear all the jelly on the board. Some of the most notable Jelly Levels are 6,8,9,10,272 and 13862.
2. Ingredients Levels - Here, players are tasked with bringing all the ingredients down to the exits.
3. Candy Order Levels - These levels must be completed by collecting all the orders. This can be done by collecting wanted items.
4. Rainbow Rapids Levels - To finish Rainbow Rapids Levels, players will have to clear the path by collecting rainbow candies.

While playing Saga, you may also find Mixed Mode levels. You will encounter them after reaching level 216.
