How to obtain the Aspect of Crucible Wings Ash of War in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

The Aspect of Crucible Wings Ash of War is easily one of the most spectacular weapon skills you can obtain in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. While the Ash of War doesn't pack the same punch as the Aspect of Crucible Incantations, it sure does make for one of the coolest weapon skills you can use to easily reposition yourself on the battlefield.

The Aspect of Crucible Wings Ash of War was first showcased by FromSoftware in Shadow of the Erdtree's gameplay reveal trailer, alongside the new Dueling Shield. However, this Ash of War cannot be used with the Thrusting Shield weapon types. Instead, it's only usable for Twinblades, Colossal Swords, and Daggers.

Where to find the Aspect of Crucible Wings Ash of War in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree?

The Aspect of Crucible Wings can be found fairly early in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, at the Fort of Reprimand. However, much like any other optional area in the game, finding the Fort of Reprimand isn't as easy as just following the most obvious path. To get to the Fort, first make your way to the Castle Ensis front, and from there, head east.

At the entrance of Castle Ensis, you will find the Castle Front Site of Grace, which will be the starting point. From the Site of Grace, head southeast, which will lead you to a crossroads. From the crossroads, take the lower path, and at the end of it, you will reach a small poison swamp.

Keep to the right of the swamp and make your way to the other side of the plateau using your Spectral Steed. Once you make your way to the other side of the plateau, keep to the left and you will find a Spiritspring nearby. Note that instead of going to the Spiritspring immediately, if you head a bit to the north, you will find the Elder's Hovel.

Inside the Elders Hovel, you will find the Talisman of the Dread, which is quite useful if you're making a Dragon Communion build in Elden Ring. After you grab the Talisman of the Dread, head to the Spiritspring and you will reach the rooftops of the Fort of Reprimand, with a Site of Grace nearby.

After activating the Site of Grace, head forward and defeat the Omenkiller in the area. Jump down from the roof to land on a small alleyway and proceed forward. You will now reach a small room with a Black Knight inside it. This is Black Knight Eredd, who you need to defeat to get the Aspect of Crucible Wings Ash of War.
