The Celestial Registry Tablet is easily one of the most useful Curios in Black Myth Wukong, especially in New Game+. The primary perk of the Celestial Registry Tablet is that it substantially increases the experience (XP) gained from defeating enemies. This, in turn, makes it incredibly easy to gain XP points to unlock talents and skill upgrades for the Destined One.

However, obtaining the Celestial Registry Tablet is much easier said than done. The Curio is essentially locked behind one of the optional "secret areas" in the game. The secret area is only accessible after completing a fairly lengthy (and obscure) NPC questline, i.e., the Venom Daoist questline in Chapter 4 (The Webbed Hollow).

Where to find the Celestial Registry Tablet in Black Myth Wukong?

The Celestial Registry Tablet is found in a treasure chest within the Purple Cloud Mountains, i.e., the secret area in Chapter 4 (The Webbed Hollow). However, to reach the Purple Cloud Mountains, you first need to complete the Venom Daoist's questline and defeat him twice, in two different locations within the chapter.

You first encounter the Venom Daoist near the Pool of Shattered Jade, which is accessible from the very first Keeper's Shrine within the Webbed Hollow. After you defeat the Venom Daoist near the Pool of Shattered Jade, you will once again encounter him near the Court of Illumination Keeper's Shrine.

After you defeat the Venom Daoist again, in the second location, he reveals the path to the Purple Cloud Mountains, and subsequently, the Celestial Registry Tablet Curio. Here are the steps to obtain the Celestial Registry Tablet in Black Myth Wukong:

• Defeat the Venom Daoist near the Pool of Shattered Jade.
• Proceed to the Court of Illuminations Keeper's Shrine.
• From the Shrine, proceed southeast until you reach a cave-like arena.
• Defeat the Venom Daoist in the cave to unlock your path to the Purple Cloud Mountains.
• Proceed normally through the Purple Cloud Mountains until you reach Daoist Mi.
• Talk to Daoist Mi (optional) and head towards the northeast from the NPC's location.
• You will eventually reach a small gazebo guarded by two spider-like enemies.
• Defeat the enemies and head inside the gazebo to find a treasure chest.
• Loot the treasure chest to obtain the Celestial Registry Tablet.

The Celestial Registry Tablet comes in incredibly handy in Black Myth Wukong's New Game+ cycles. With the Curio equipped, you can easily farm XP points and unlock upgrades for all your primary Spells and Stance talents. Simply go near the hanging cocoons in front of the Venom Daoist boss arena and use the Ashen Slumber's self-immolation skill to kill all the cocoons and get a massive amount of XP and Will.
