How to obtain Claws of Night in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

Claws of Night are one of the new Claw-type weapons that arrived with Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Among the best Dexterity weapons in the game, it comes with an innate blood buildup of 45. The weapon's fast-hitting combo and stunning critical hit damage leave little to be desired. However, getting your hands on the Claws of Night is easier said than done.

The area where this weapon drops can only be accessed while completing Ymir's quest, who is one of the new NPCs in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you obtain the Claws of Night.

Where to find the Claws of Night in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree?

The Claws of Night are dropped by an NPC invader by the name of Swordhand of Night Anna. To face Anna, you will first have to get to the last part of Count Ymir's quest line. Ymir can be found inside the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. To get to Anna, you will have to ring the bells located in the center of the Finger Ruins of Dheo and the Finger Ruins of Rhia.

Once you've rung both bells, go back to the Cathedral, reset the area, and interact with Ymir's chair. Doing so will reveal a secret pathway that leads to the Finger Ruins of Miyr. Enter the Ruins and head towards the third bell in front of you. Before you can reach it, you will be invaded by Swordhand of Night Anna. Simply defeat Anna, and she will drop the Claws of Night weapon.

From here, you can go on to finish Ymir and Jolan's questlines. After you're done with Ymir, approach the dying Jolan and give her an Iris of Occultation to obtain the Sword of Night Katana. This Katana and the Claws of Night are two of the best dexterity weapons and will result in some amazing dexterity builds in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

You can also pair the Claws of Night with the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia to maximize the amount of damage you do with this weapon. It comes with innate blood buildup, so you can also consider pairing the Claws of Night with the Lord of Blood's Exultation or the White Mask.
