The Golden Lion Shield in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is given by the NPC Redmane Freyja, who can be found in the Shadow Keep. Below are the steps you must follow to find the Golden Lion Shield in Elden Ring.

• Meet Redmayne Freyja for the first time at the Three-Path Cross, North of the Gravesite Plain - Site of Grace.
• Go to the Shadow Keep, a legacy dungeon located at the center or heart of the Scadu Altus region. You can reach here by traveling along the road from the Highroad Cross Site of Grace. You can also acquire the Repeating Crossbow on the way.
• You will find Redmayne Freyja again on the seventh floor of Shadow Keep. Talk to her and she will tell you all about her journeys and other things. Make sure to prolong the conversation with her to hear all of her dialogue.
• Proceed to the first floor and speak with Sir Ansbach. Take the Letter of Freyja from him.
• Return to Redmayne Freyja’s location and give the letter to her.
• Continue speaking with her and make sure she spills all the dialogue until she finally rewards you with the Golden Lion Shield.
