How to obtain the Spirit Glaive in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

The Spirit Glaive is easily one of the most intriguing weapons you can obtain in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Generally, Glaives are neither known for their damage-dealing potential nor are they usually effective in builds centered primarily around DPS. However, the Spirit Glaive is an exception to this rule, with incredibly high base attack power, and Intellingence scaling.

However, unlike some of the most powerful weapons in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, the Spirit Glaive isn't locked behind an optional dungeon or Remembrance boss. Instead, it's tucked away within the bowels of one of the most well-hidden locations of the Shadow Realm - Charo's Hidden Grave.

Where to find the Spirit Glaive in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree?

The Spirit Glaive is found at Charo's Hidden Grave, and you can technically pick it up pretty early, even as soon as you arrive at the Gravesite Plains. However, the biggest hurdle you will face is finding Charo's Hidden Grave. This is because the map fragment you get as soon as you step into the Shadow Realm doesn't cover the southwestern region.

The Charo's Hidden Grave is right at the southern coast's end. However, if you make your way to the Dragon's Pit dungeon, and then subsequently, the Jagged Peak Mountain's entrance, you can technically beeline straight to Charo's Hidden Grave, even without unlocking the map of the area.

But it should be noted that Charo's Hidden Grave, much like the area before it, i.e., Jagged Peak Mountain, is meant to be accessed pretty late into the DLC. While you can technically go there pretty early, you're clearly not meant to, given the difficulty of the bosses and even the normal mob enemies in the area.

Thankfully, you don't have to defeat any bosses or even enemies to get the Spirit Glaive. All you need to do is to arrive at the Charo's Hidden Grave Site of Grace and head straight north. As soon as you enter the central area of the Hidden Grave, quickly make a right and proceed straight.

You will find the Spirit Glaive at the end of the path, indicated by a cluster of gravestones. While the path to Charo's Hidden Grave is perilous, I do recommend going there as soon as possible to pick up the Spirit Glaive. The Ash of War isn't anything special, but the scaling makes it incredibly powerful, especially if you're using a mage build.
