The Venomous Armguard is one of the rarest armor pieces in Black Myth Wukong. Black Myth Wukong, much like its primary inspiration, i.e., Dark Souls, has plenty of items that are missable on your first playthrough. The Venomous Armguard is one such item and can be obtained upon defeating an optional boss in a very specific manner.
Although the stats of the Venomous Armguard aren't particularly special, it's still a piece of armor that completionists and collectible hunters will not want to miss out on. Unfortunately, if you've already completed Chapter 4 and the Purple Cloud Mountain secret area, you will have to go into New Game+ to obtain it.
Here's a comprehensive guide on how to obtain the Venomous Armguard in Black Myth Wukong.

Where to find the Venomous Armguard in Black Myth Wukong
The Venomous Armguard drops from the Venom Daoist boss fight near the Pool of Shattered Jade Keeper's Shrine in Black Myth Wukong Chapter 4. However, it's not a guaranteed drop unless you defeat the boss in a specific manner.
Essentially, to get the Venomous Armguard, you need to break four out of the six arms that the Venom Daoist has. The problem is that the boss is incredibly agile, and targeting his arms is easier said than done.
Using your regular hit combos on the Venom Daoist will only end up depleting his healthbar and won't help you break his arms. Instead, you should attack the boss' back, where the extra arms are connected, to make sure you break at least four of them before his HP is entirely depleted.
The best tools (Spells) for this task are Immobilize and Cloud Step. However, instead of defensive tools, these Spells have a more active role in this boss fight.
Given the speed of the Venom Daoist, you will get very few instances of targeting his back. However, if you land a charged-heavy attack on the boss' back, you're guaranteed to break at least one of his six arms.
Your goal would be to charge your Focus gauge to at least three nodes using regular attacks, or better, Perfect Dodges. Once you get your Focus nodes charged, allow the boss to finish his combos and then cast Immobilize. As soon as you cast the Spell, run behind the boss and hit his back with a charged-heavy attack to break his arm(s).
Repeat this process at least three times, and you should break the four additional arms that you need for the Venomous Armguard. Do note that you should avoid hitting the boss anywhere other than his back to risk his HP depleting before you can break his arms.
If you fail to break four of his arms before the boss fight is over, you won't get another chance to grab the venomous Armguard in your current playthrough. Instead, you will have to go into Black Myth Wukong's New Game+ to try once again. Unfortunately, you can't get the Armguard in the second Venom Daoist boss fight, which leads to the Purple Cloud Mountain Secret Area.
