How to obtain the Weaver's Needle in Black Myth Wukong

The Weaver's Needle is easily among the most powerful Vessels in Black Myth Wukong, only seconded by the Plantain Fan. However, unlike the latter, which is an automatic unlock upon completing Black Myth Wukong Chapter 5 (The Flaming Mountains), the Weaver's Needle is locked behind a rather lengthy optional quest and an incredibly challenging boss fight.

In Chapter 3 (The Webbed Hollow) you first need to make your way to the Pool of Shattered Jade, where you will meet the Venom Daoist. The Venom Daoist will eventually lead you to the optional "secret area" of the chapter - the Purple Cloud Mountains. And it is in the Purple Cloud Mountains that you will obtain the Weaver's Needle.

Where to find the Weaver's Needle in Black Myth Wukong?

The Weaver's Needle is obtained upon defeating the Duskveil, the final boss of the Purple Cloud Mountains. However, to defeat it, you first need to reach its domain, which will take quite a bit of work. You first need to seek out the Venom Daoist, who can be found in the Pool of Shattered Jade, close to the very first Keeper's Shrine in The Webbed Hollow.

After that, you then need to make your way to the Court of Illumination Keeper's Shrine. From there, proceed southeast to once again face off against the Venom Daoist. Defeating it here is what ultimately leads to the Purple Cloud Mountain, and subsequently, the Weaver's Needle.

That being said, here are the steps involved in unlocking the Weaver's Needle in Black Myth Wukong:

• Defeat the Venom Daoist near the Pool of Shattered Jade.
• Proceed to the Court of Illumination Shrine.
• From the Shrine, proceed southeast until you reach another Venom Daoist boss arena.
• Defeat the Venom Daoist to unlock your path to the Purple Cloud Mountain.
• Proceed through Purple Cloud Mountain normally, until you reach the Duskveil.
• Defeat the Duskveil to obtain the Weaver's Needle.

Do note that the Purple Cloud Mountain also houses two more bosses apart from the Duskveil - Daoist Mi and The Scorpionlord. If you happen to defeat the Duskveil before defeating either of the aforementioned bosses, you will have to jump into New Game+ to get another shot at them. It's best to complete all the optional battles before heading to the Duskveil boss fight.

Once you defeat the Duskveil, you will witness a small cutscene that automatically exits the Destined One out of the Purple Cloud Mountains and rewards him with the Weaver's Needle.
