Simon met TBJZL while helping JJ film a video in London. Simon was thus inspired to create a channel of his own. Three months into the term, he dropped out of university and began working on JJ's clothing line, Beast. Simon then posted his first FIFA video in December 2012.
In his first few years on YouTube, Minter mainly made FIFA and real-life football videos, vlogs, Q&A videos and PO Box package openings. In April 2013, Simon did his first collaboration video with Deji.
