Michael, in his early gaming days, used to go by the name of mEclipse which he later changed into Shroud. Grzesiek aka Shroud started his journey playing professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO), building his career with several ESEA teams, particularly Exertus eSports and Manajuma. Soon after, he was signed in by compLexity Gaming and later on joined Cloud9. As a part of Cloud9, Shroud led the team to victory in the ESL Pro League Season 4 which happened back in 2016. In 2007, Shroud decided to leave his place on the team and get into full-time steaming.
After April 2018, Shroud officially left Cloud9 and decided to retire from professional CS: GO. Later in March 2019, Grzesiek achieved the 100,000 Twitch subscribers mark and went on to receive more count, reaching around 14,000 viewers.
