You can technically "one-shot" bosses in Black Myth Wukong, granted you're running the right build and weapon combination. Boss fights in developer GameScience's latest action RPG, especially the end-game ones, can be incredibly challenging regardless of whether you over-level for those encounters or face them with a limited set of skills.
However, there's a specific build that you can craft in Black Myth Wukong that has the potential of defeating bosses in a single charged-heavy attack, dealing upwards of 25,000 DPS. The build configuration comes courtesy of YouTuber and souls-like content creator - SYROBE.
It should be noted that this "one-shot" build can only be created in New Game+. If you're on a base New Game playthrough, you won't have access to a very important skill that's essential for this particular build. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to one-shot bosses in Black Myth Wukong.

How to make the one-shot build in Black Myth Wukong
The one-shot build essentially uses the sixth Relic - Freed Mind's Unified Mind perk, which allows multiplying damage of charged-heavy attacks via summoned clones. However, to get access to the Freed Mind Relic, you must first defeat Erlang, the Sacred Divinity, and then obtain the optional, true ending of Black Myth Wukong, before heading to New Game+.
Not only do you get a new Relic in New Game+, but you also get an entirely new Spell - Life Saving Strand, which revives the Destined One once, upon receiving a lethal hit. Apart from Freed Mind, you also need to max out the A Pluck of Many Spell, as well as the Destined One's Mana bar.
For the weapon, the best choices are either the Stormflash Loong Staff or Jingubang. As for the armor set, you can go with anything that offers a decent amount of Defense. However, if you want to maximize your damage output, the fully upgraded Yakshasa set is the best option. Furthermore, equip the Gore-Eyed Daoist Spirit.
The Gore-Eyed Daoist essentially more than doubles your base DPS if you stay in the vicinity of where you cast the Spirit's ability. Also, make sure you equip and max out the Immobilize and Cloud Step Spells, to give you a headstart and some defensive options during boss fights.
For the Curios, you'd want something that either increases your attack power even further or gives your Mana a boost. We recommend using the Thunderflame Seal, which increases Mana by 30. You can farm the Thunderflame Seal from the Staff-wielding enemies in the Thunderclap Temple. Ideally, you'd want to equip three of these Curios for this build to work.
You need all that Mana since you'd want to cast A Pluck of Many twice in quick succession, and also a bit of Mana to avoid any incoming attack, via Cloud Step or Immobilize. Apart from the Curios, you also need the Septenary Heartfire Pill and the Enhanced Ginseng Pill.
Once you have all these prerequisites set, you're ready to "one-shot" bosses in Black Myth Wukong. This build is incredibly effective against bosses in the first half of the game, and even some of the end-game (Chapter 6) encounters. You can also make it work against bosses like Great Sage's Broken Shell and Erlang, the Sacred Divinity.
However, for the latter bosses, it requires a bit more work, and also proper timing. If you miss out on one-shotting these bosses, simply use the same trick again, granted your clones do not disappear, to take them down.
How to use the one-shot build in Black Myth Wukong
Before heading into a boss fight, use the Enhanced Tiger Subduing Pill and the Loong Aura Amplification Pill to increase your Critical Hit Damage. Once you head into the boss fight, cast the Gore-Eyed Daoist Spirit, followed by A Pluck of Many. After casting A Pluck of Many, consume the Septenary Heartfire Pill to reset the cooldown of Spells.
Again, cast another A Pluck of Many. Once you cast A Pluck of Many twice, consume the Enhanced Ginseng Pill to max out your Focus gauge. Switch to Smash Stance, and use Cloud Step to get closer to the boss. You can also use Immobilize to make sure the boss isn't moving away from your attacks.
Once you get close to the boss, charge your heavy attack to the maximum and hit the boss. If you do everything correctly, without the boss moving away from your attacks, you should be able to defeat it with this attack. If you're attempting this method on Erlang, drop his shield first before casting A Pluck of Many.
Using the Plantain Fan Vessel can easily deplete Erlang's shield without you having to hit the boss and risk taking damage. You can further increase your attack power using the Gold Button Curios. However, the Gold Button is only effective as long as you stay at max HP.
