How to play as the Goat in Cult of the Lamb

The Cult of the Lamb's latest Unholy Alliance update introduces several notable accessibility features. One of the prominent additions is a local two-player Co-op mode, where players can take on the roles of both the Lamb and the Goat. On top of that, players can also choose to play as the Goat outside of Co-op mode by acquiring the Goat Fleece.

How to obtain the Goat Fleece in Cult of the Lamb

To obtain the Goat Fleece and play as the Goat, you must first "Summon The Co-op Goat". This setting only unlocks in the pause menu if you have a secondary controller attached. Afterward, you have to pause the game and disable the Co-op player mode. Then follow the steps below:

• Go to the Temple
• Navigate to the Altar and select the "Crown" option
• If you have added a Co-op player and then disconnected, the Goat Fleece should be available here.
• Select the Fleece and play the game as the Goat.

You must gather 5 Sin to create the Goat Fleece in Cult of the Lamb. If you don't have the required amount, you can achieve this by serving several drinks to the same cultist at the Drinkhouse. With every drink consumed, their Sin meter will increase. When the meter reaches its maximum, the Lamb can forgive them and collect the Sin to access the Goat Fleece.

It should be noted that playing the Goat's role serves solely a cosmetic purpose in the game. Thus, there's no impact on your overall stats or abilities.

Furthermore, the new Transmog System enables you to alter the look of your Fleeces while preserving their abilities. This feature allows you to select any of your preferred Fleece while still maintaining the Goat's appearance. However, altering the Goat Fleece's look is not an option currently.
