Movement

Namor deals damage from range using his Trident throws. Paired with his Monstro Spawns, he should be placed at mid-long range distance during combat. While in mid-air, he can slowly glide downwards with the help of his winged feet, granting him a bit of verticality when needed. You will, however, need to be on the move constantly to place new turrets in strategic locations to ambush foes.

Playstyle

While Namor can deal damage with his Trident, he doesn't have as high of damage output as some other Duelists, so you must aim for headshots whenever possible.

As such, Namor's whole gimmick in Marvel Rivals is to lend support to his team with his abilities by attacking from the backline (which does have a slight projectile falloff) and stationing his turrets as needed.

Up to three turrets can be deployed at once (plus an additional one with the Team-Up Ability), which will disappear after a while. Using the Wrath of the Seven Seas allows directing turret fire - meaning multiple turret attacks - at a priority target.

As such, Namor is all about putting pressure on a foe. When in trouble, he can deploy a shield that lifts him up in the air, making him immune to all damage for a few seconds.

This is great for dodging powerful attacks, such as other enemy Ultimates that hit in an AOE (Area-of-Effect). While he can move while in the bubble, he cannot use any skills or attacks for this duration. After the ability has been used, he will drop back down right where he used it.

As such, you should take care to not get hit immediately after and deploy the shield only when you know your teammates are around to lend a hand.

Team-Up

When Luna Snow is on the team, Namor can use Frozen Spawn to become infused with the ice element, which also spawns an additional Monstro turret. This state allows his attacks and skills to deal more damage than usual while also slowing down enemies due to the ice effect.

Ultimate

Using the Horn of Proteus, Namor will summon Giganto to flop atop enemies dealing damage in an area. This is great when opponents are huddled up, or better, when multiple targets have low HP. Using this Ultimate should finish off multiple foes if their health is low, allowing the team to press forth.

This is all players need to know about using Namor in Marvel Rivals.
