Tencent Games has finally introduced Ocean Odyssey mode in PUBG Mobile's 3.3 update, along with a lot of fresh content, including new items, a time-limited weapon named Trident, Metro Royale features, and architectural changes. The patch arrived in the title on July 11, 2024, and as it looks, it will certainly enhance players' battle royale gaming experience.

The Ocean Odyssey mode lets players explore a new terrain in PUBG Mobile, featuring a colossal underwater palace, a giant Kraken, and Forsaken Ruins.
The following are the features of the Ocean Odyssey mode in PUBG Mobile and how you can make the most of them:
1) Ocean Palace
The underwater Ocean palace sustains a Sea Suppressor, allowing you to walk around like you're on land. However, once you cross its boundary, you will start swimming.
To reach Ocean Palace as soon as possible, land on the ocean surface, which submerges you into the deep. Once this happens, you will receive a boost, allowing you to swim and loot fast. Moreover, if you arrive first at the palace, you will receive a Respawn Card.
At the core of the Ocean Palace, you will find the legendary weapon: Trident. Obtaining it will grant you numerous unique skills, including special swimming animation, a swimming speed boost, and the ability to summon a waterspout on the land.
Note that retrieving the Trident will wake up the mythic creature, Kraken, who will then destroy the Sea Suppressor, causing a flood in the palace. To return, swim back to the land or use the portal available in the Ocean Palace.
2) Forsaken Ruins
Forsaken Ruins is another mysterious place featured in the Ocean Odyssey mode in PUBG Mobile. Search for the secret switches in this region, and you will find a way to enter the Sea Treasury.
An underwater area, Sea Treasury, can be reached through a cave. After reaching there, light up the columns near the entrance to claim the hidden treasure.
3) Water Prism
Besides Ocean Palace and Forsaken Ruins, the Ocean Odyssey mode in PUBG Mobile features multiple giant Water Prism throughout the maps. Cross their barriers and you will be rewarded with useful supplies.
