Ubisoft developers recently introduced TDM in XDefiant as the newest addition to the Unranked playlist, on June 21, 2024. It follows the standard 6v6 matchmaking rule; the team that makes it to the 100-kills mark first is the TDM winner. Following the arrival of Team Deathmatch in XDefiant, players have been hopping on the servers to try out the much-awaited mode in the arena shooter.

Here's how you can queue for and play a TDM (Team Deathmatch) in XDefiant:

Head to the Ubisoft Launcher.
Log in with proper credentials.
Navigate to the Library and look for XDefiant.
Hit the Play button.
Upon opening the main menu, go to the Play option and select Unranked.
Select TDM (Team Deathmatch) and queue for it.
You could also select the Unranked playlist, hoping to get a Team Deathmatch.

Arena shooter connoisseurs can also enjoy other game modes apart from TDM in XDefiant. The following are available in Ubisoft's in-house arena shooter game:

Meanwhile, players worldwide can also enjoy the Ranked mode, currently in its early trial. However, as per the developers, it's most likely to go live in the coming month.
