Capcom finally showcased Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster in action with a brand new gameplay trailer. While the title is tagged as a "remaster," it is more or less a remake of the original game, akin to 2023's Dead Space or 2020's Demon's Souls. Although the original Dead Rising was built on Capcom's MT Framework engine, the remaster is developed using the RE Engine.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster pre-order guide

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is scheduled to be released on September 19, 2024, exclusively for the current generation systems, i.e., PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. While the game is still months away from release, pre-orders for the title are already live on all platforms, alongside some cool pre-order bonuses.

Here's how you can pre-order Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam):

PlayStation 5

• Head to the PlayStation Store on your PS5 via the dashboard.
• Search for Dead Rising or look for the game within the Pre-orders section. You can also find it in the Latest section of the PS Store.
• Choose your desired edition and proceed to payment and checkout.
• Once payment is complete, the game will be added to your PSN library.
• Do note that you can also pre-order games for your PS5 using the PS App.

Xbox Series X|S

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, much like the Resident Evil remakes and other recent Capcom releases, is offered in two different versions, a Standard Edition priced at $49.99 and a Deluxe Edition priced at $59.99. Both these versions come with the pre-order bonuses costumes for the game's protagonist, Frank West, as well as additional BGM for the Mall.
