Charo's Hidden Grave, as the name might suggest, is one of the most hidden locations within Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree. Much like the base game, Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is filled with optional regions you can completely miss out on, even after multiple playthroughs. Charo's Hidden Grave, just like Siofra, is one such region.

You can reach Charo's Hidden Grave pretty early in the DLC. In fact, you can beeline to Charo's Hidden Grave as soon as you arrive in the Shadow Realm and the opening area of the expansion, Gravesite Plains. However, you're not meant to, given the difficulty of the bosses in the area.

Here's a comprehensive guide on reaching Charo's Hidden Grave in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, along with the rundown of the bosses you will face there.

How to access Charo's Hidden Grave early, in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree?

Charo's Hidden Grave is accessible right after you reach the Dragon's Pit Terminus. Surprisingly enough, you can reach the Dragon Pit dungeon and the Terminus Site of Grace even before you start any legacy dungeon in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. The Dragon's Pit is accessible right after you arrive at the Castle Front Site of Grace.

From the Castle Front Site of Grace, head straight to the west, and you will arrive at the Dragon's Pit dungeon. This dungeon is comparatively small with an optional mini-boss and the main "end-of-dungeon" boss. The optional mini-boss is a Magma Wyrm, who drops an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone upon defeat.

The dungeon's main boss is the Ancient Dragon-Man, who uses the Dragon Hunter's Great Katana and Ancient Dragon Incantations. After you defeat the Ancient Dragon-Man, instead of leaving the dungeon via fast travel, head out of it through the gate to the south of the boss arena. This will lead you to the Dragon's Pit Terminus Site of Grace.

From the Dragon's Pit Site of Grace, proceed north, and you will eventually come across a Jagged Peak Drake. From here, you can go north to scale the Jagged Peak Mountain or take a right and head east to arrive at the Ancient Dragon Communion Site of Grace. This is where you must go to reach Charo's Hidden Grave.

From the Dragon Communion, head west and you will eventually arrive at Charo's Hidden Grave. Compared to other optional regions in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, Charo's Hidden Grave is quite small, featuring one mini-boss, i.e., a Golden Hippopotamus (with a Scadutree Fragment), a boss, i.e., a Death Rite Bird, and also a Furnace Golem.
