The Jagged Peak Mountain, despite being an optional area in Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, is home to one of the most important and memorable boss fights. Surprisingly, the Jagged Peak Mountain is accessible fairly early in the expansion, despite it technically being an end-game region, akin to Charo's Hidden Grave.
What makes the Jagged Peaks stand out among other optional regions in the Shadow Realm is the fact that it is afflicted with the Drakes, since it serves as a refuge to those who opposed the Dragonlord. At the apex of the Jagged Peaks, you will find Bayle the Dread, a fearsome Drake who's known to have gone toe-to-toe with Placidussax.
While the Jagged Peak Mountain is quite small compared to other optional regions in the title, such as the Stone Coffin Fissure or the Cerulean Coast, it's still an area that you don't want to miss out on. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to reach the Jagged Peak Mountain in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

How to access the Jagged Peak Mountain early in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree?
You can reach the Foot of the Jagged Peak, as soon as you arrive at the Garvesite Plains, the opening area of the the DLC. You need to navigate to the Castle Front Site of Grace, and from there, you must head towards the east, to reach the Dragon's Pit dungeon.
The Dragon's Pit is an early-game dungeon that you can clear even without any Scadutree Blessings to buff you. However, do note that the boss at the end of the dungeon, Ancient Dragon-Man can be a formidable opponent, especially if you're not using a pure melee build.
The path to the Dragon's Pit is quite simple, you just need to head towards the eastern path of the Gravesite Plains. Along the way, you will come across a crossroads. The path to the left leads you to Thiollier and another Site of Grace, while the one leading to the right takes you to Igon, as well as the Dragon's Pit dungeon.
Make sure to activate the Site of Grace near Igon. It is also recommended that you talk to him. After the interaction, head toward the Dragon's Pit dungeon. On your way, you will be invaded by Ancient Dragon-Man. Upon entering the Dragon's Pit, proceed to the end of the dungeon as usual. Eventually, you will come across a long alleyway with stairs.
If you head up the stairs, you will find a small area with a Magma Wyrm. Defeating the Magma Wyrm rewards you with an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. If you head down the stairs, you will reach the end of the dungeon with a chasm at its apex. Jump down the chasm, and you will reach the boss door of the dungeon.
Inside the boss room, you will once again face off against the Ancient Dragon-Man. Defeating him rewards you with the Dargon Hunter's Great Katana, one of the most powerful weapons in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. It will also open up the way to exit the dungeon into the foot of the Jagged Peak.
From there, you simply need to head north until you reach the apex of the Jagged Peak Mountain. Make sure to activate the Dragon's Pit Terminus Site of Grace before you proceed further.
