How to reach Rauh Ruins in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

The Rauh Ruins in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree - also known as the Ancient Ruins of Rauh - are an important part of the map. Not to be confused with the Rauh Base, as there are two important locations in that area. In this case, we will head through the dangerous Shadow Keep to get there. You can also get there through Castle Enesis, and head through Rauh Base, but that’s not the route we’re going to take.

Reach the Rauh Ruins in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree via Shadow Keep

If you want to take this route to the Rauh Ruins in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, teleport to the Main Gate Plaza in Shadow Keep. Your next goal is the Specimen Storehouse area - if you know how to get there, just run there, and either fight through the enemies or avoid them, depending on how you’re feeling. You may already have the Site of Grace for the Specimen Storage - First Floor. If so, just use it and head forward.

For those who don’t know, head West, and climb the next set of stairs as well as the wooden stairs immediately nearby. You will then take them into a large, candle-lit room, and head through the eastern exit. Continue east, avoiding or fighting at your leisure, past the stairs, and into the large open doorway to the north.

You’ll find an elevator here that takes you to the Specimen Storage in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree - the Lost Grace is right up the steps. While not directly in the way, this area is where you find the Fire Serpent Incantation. The next step in reaching Rauh Ruins in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is to cross the bridge.

In this room, head north then west, around the corner through the next room. You’ll find another elevator to take you down, so press the switch and enjoy the ride. Go forward and turn north into the immediate next room. Soon, you’ll see tons of shields and polearms - take the stairs down, into the room with all the huge clay pots. Head south, then west, into the next room.

Head west, avoiding the various enemies that lunge at you with extending arms, where you’ll see another Site of Grace. Take the little doorway to the right to get outside, hop on Torrent, and charge across the bridge. You’ll find a few enemies on the way, but you’re near the Rauh Ruins in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

Once you’re back inside, head west - note the blue glow on the ground. Head through that doorway, and go upstairs. Pull the lever to summon the elevator, and go up. Once you’re at the top, you’ve reached the Ancient Ruins of Rauh - along with a Site of Grace.
