Stone Coffin Fissure is one of the minor dungeons in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. This place is home to one of the bosses introduced in the DLC, Putrescent Knight. This place also sheds some lore on Kindly Miquella’s alleged alternate form, St. Trina, the lady of slumber.

This dungeon offers many rewards, including smithing stones, runes, and a Miquella’s Cross on the path toward the Fissure. The recommended Scadutree Fragments for this location is 6-8, and you could benefit greatly if you have a weapon that has significant stagger potential. Also, the mimic can be helpful in the Putrescent Knight boss fight.

Follow these steps to reach the Stone Coffin Fissure:

  • Set out on your adventure from the Cerulean Coast site of grace.
  • Access your map and locate the peninsula at the south, it’s a narrow piece of land on the edge of the Cerulean Coast.
  • Mount Torrent and travel southward, as the Stone Coffin Fissure is situated at the peninsula's southernmost point.
  • En route, keep an eye out for another Miquella Cross to the east of the peninsula's base. A Scadutree Fragment and the Cerulean Coast Cross place of grace can be found here.
  • Continue your ride to the peninsula's end, where you'll encounter a massive opening in the ground.
  • Approach the opening from its northwestern side to spot some ledges.
  • Use these ledges to carefully descend into the opening.
  • At the bottom, you'll find The Fissure site of grace.
  • Look for a cave entrance behind this grace point.
  • As soon as you enter the cave, you'll see the Stone Coffin Fissure site of grace.

That’s how you can locate the Stone Coffin Fissure in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Once inside, get ready for some tough-to-kill slimes and the Putrescent Knight.

Inside the Fissure you will encounter a stone cave descending downwards. Follow its path until you reach the site of grace inside the cave. Just past it, you will see the head of a giant statue on the ledge. Be brave and jump, at the bottom you will encounter the Putrescent Knight. The knight of St. Trina wields a curved spine blade.

It’s attacks and the weapon is somewhat similar to the Orphan of Kos from Bloodborne. But it is much easier to kill due to its low defense and meager HP. With a weapon with stagger capabilities, you can make short work of it.
