To repair your broken ship, simply swim toward it and remain still in its proximity until it is repaired. The repair process is denoted by a small blue wrench symbol and must be completed before the ship can be used to sail again.

You can only repair your ship once it is completely down, meaning you cannot repair it mid-battle or when it is running low on health. Repairing the ship itself does not take very long. However, you will continue to sustain damage from enemies during the repair process, so it is recommended to leave the ship and swim to safety if your ship sinks during a sea battle.

There are two types of upgrades for the ship in Cat Quest 3: Firepower and Blueprints. Firepower upgrades are usually found by defeating enemy ships and claiming their drops. These will grant your ship special ammunition, increased attack power, and range.

The other type of upgrade is called Blueprints. Blueprint upgrades can be found by completing ship-related puzzles and challenges across the map. Since your ship has a limited number of upgrade slots, carefully consider which Firepower or Blueprint upgrades best suit your current situation and available space.
