Lucanis Dellamorte is one of the most important characters in the game, who's out to get his revenge on Venatori and protect his family. If you intend to romance Lucanis in Dragon Age The Veilguard, this is how you should do it:

• Complete personal quests of Lucanis and rescue Treviso from Treviso's storyline.
• Opt to flirt with Lucanis whenever possible throughout the game. There will be several instances, though, where these flirtation dialogues won't be accepted.
• Moments after you recruit Davrin the Grey Warden, you will have to choose between saving either Minrathous or Treviso. Make sure to save Treviso here if you want to romance Lucanis in the future.
• Gift Lucanis the Antivan Tea Set. You can purchase it from the Crows Merchant in The Cantori Diamond in Treviso.

Building up the romance in act one of Dragon Age The Veilguard

Act one

In Act One of the game, you will go to a cafe in Treviso with Lucanis and his cousin. Before meeting his cousin Illario, however, you can ask Lucanis to get something for himself, which will be a wyvern tooth dagger. After this, when the trio goes out to the cafe, you need to get Lucanis' approval while ordering drinks by selecting the "I don't buy it" option.

Act two

During Act Two, you will witness Lucanis sleepwalking as Spite is in charge of his body at the time. Given that Spite is controlling Lucanis, your dialogue choices don't really affect your relationship with Lucanis. However, when Lucanis gains consciousness again you can start flirting with him.

As Lucanis apologizes and shows concerns regarding the sleepwalking incident, choose the "I don't mind it" option. Then, when he states that it is not fair to you, select the "I like messes" response.

Act three

As you complete the Inner Demons quest, you will indulge in a conversation with Lucanis, where he offers you your favorite drink (the one you selected during your first outing together at the cafe), reply "You're sweet, you know."

Murder of crows quest

After the Murder of Crows quest ends, Lucanis states that he has plans for the evening. Here, you can pick an option that thanks Lucanis for always being by your side.
