Stalker 2 features a dynamic time cycle, with the time of day progressing from a bright day to a dark night. While this is quite immersive and adds a sense of realism while exploring the map, roaming at night can end up being quite dangerous. This is more noticeable with enemy encounters, as some can prove to be quite difficult to see at night.
Fortunately, the game features a mechanic to speed up time, which can be done by simply resting in a bed in the settlement. Below is a guide on how to do so and pass some time in Stalker 2.

How to skip time in Stalker 2
Apart from waiting for an entire day/night cycle to pass, the fastest way to pass time in the game is to simply rest on a bed. Reach the point in the campaign when Zalissya is unlocked, and head to the personal quarters. A bed will be visible, so interact with it to rest.
This will change the time of the day by advancing time by four hours, and will restore all health. Do note, however, that the protagonist may wake up hungry after sleeping. So, keep some food handy to keep hunger satiated.
If the character is dealing with immense hunger or bleeding, it may not be possible to sleep. In this case, quell their needs by using a bandage or a snack to help them feel better first.
Waking up with some hunger pangs but with health fully restored is still better than having to traverse the dangerous terrain in the darkness, and being prone to a lot more enemy damage than usual.
Stalker 2 features three difficulty levels
At any time during gameplay, Stalker 2's difficulty level can be altered between the three available options, namely Rookie, Stalker, and Veteran. Rookie is meant for newcomers to the genre or the Stalker games, while the second difficulty is meant for players familiar with the series.
The Veteran difficulty is by far the hardest, and it eliminates HUD elements to provide a challenge, in addition to making enemies stronger.
