How to solve the Mirror puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

The Golden Mask, aka the mirror puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, can be found during the Sanctuary of the Guardians mission, which is part of The Idol of Ra main quest in Gizeh. After meeting Gina in the blue tent near the Great Sphinx, Indiana and Gina will go out to explore the tomb. To blend in with the Nazis, you will need Worker’s clothes inside the tomb entrance.

How to find and complete the mirror puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

The Gold Mask Mirror Puzzle is located in the final room beneath the Great Sphinx, after entering the tomb using the Golden Medallion. Once you reach the room, you’ll find the Gold Mask locked behind a mechanism controlled by light beams.

The goal of the puzzle is to redirect light beams onto two gold discs located near the stairs beneath the Gold Mask platform. To do this, you must adjust four mirrors placed strategically around the room.

The puzzle features four adjustable mirrors and two light-sensitive gold discs:

• Two mirrors near the throne/platform at the back of the room.
• Two mirrors near the entrance of the room.
• The light enters the room through holes in the ceiling and must be redirected to the discs to activate the mechanism and unlock the Gold Mask.

Step 1: Adjust the Rear Mirrors (Near the Throne)

Start by moving to the mirrors at the back of the room near the throne/platform. Adjust these mirrors so they redirect the light diagonally toward the mirrors near the entrance:

• Rotate Mirror 1 to aim the light at Mirror 3 (near the entrance).
• Rotate Mirror 2 to aim the light at Mirror 4 (near the entrance).

Step 2: Adjust the Front Mirrors (Near the Entrance)

Next, move to the mirrors near the entrance of the room. Adjust these mirrors to redirect the light diagonally onto the two gold discs at the base of the platform:

• Rotate Mirror 3 to shine the light onto Disc 5 (beneath the stairs).
• Rotate Mirror 4 to shine the light onto Disc 6 (beneath the stairs).

Step 3:

Once all mirrors are correctly aligned, the room will display two X-shaped beams of light crossing through it. Both gold discs beneath the platform should now be illuminated.

When the light beams hit the gold discs correctly, the mechanism will activate, unlocking the pedestal that holds the Gold Mask. Approach the pedestal and pick up the mask, triggering a cutscene.
