How to solve moth puzzle in Blue Creek Apartments in Silent Hill 2

Konami's Silent Hill 2 Remake is now available to play for buyers of the Digital Deluxe copy of the game. Silent Hill 2 consists of a ton of complicated puzzles to solve in order to progress in the game. Players will stumble upon one such puzzle inside the Blue Creek Apartments. Here's how you can solve the moth puzzle with ease.

Once you solve the coin puzzle present inside the Wood Side Apartments, you will finally be able to access the Blue Creek Apartments. As you enter apartment number 202, you will find a room filled with moths. To solve the moth puzzle in Silent Hill 2, you will need to solve a math equation. However, instead of numbers, the equation consists of a few symbols. You need to find out what symbol represents what number in order to solve the puzzle.

Find the diagram on the wall next to the lock in the room. This diagram will consist of a few math equations indicated by various symbols- a crescent, a skull, and a circle inside a diamond. All the moths inside the room will have a symbol embedded in their wings, and some moths can have more than one symbol on their wings.

Start by counting the circle symbol first. This one is the easiest of all. In total, you will find five circle symbols spread evenly throughout the room. One of the moths with the circle symbols will also have a skull symbol on it. Similarly, look for all such symbols.

Now, walk to the entrance of the room and find a hole in the wall. Here, you will find your second skull symbol on a moth. Moving on to the crescents, most can be located quickly by just looking around the room. You will be able to find seven crescents quite easily. However, the eighth crescent will be hidden behind a wall next to the three moths displayed on the wall. Break through the wall to enter another room, and once inside, locate a bookshelf. Push it to one side to find another moth with a crescent symbol.

In total, you will find eight crescents, five circles, and two skulls. Once you have all the symbols figured out, it will be pretty easy to solve the moth puzzle in Silent Hill 2.

• The first equation is: circles minus crescents/ 8-5=3
• The second equation is: skulls plus circles/ 2+5=7
• The third equation is: circles minus skulls/ 5-2= 3
