Completing the Seat of Eternity puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
To make solving this quest easier, consider purchasing Gizeh Mysteries from the trader — it will mark the area of this mystery and also reveal the locations of some other hidden mysteries around Gizeh. Once done, head to the location marked on the map; the correct location can be ascertained if three wild dogs are in the vicinity.
There are two entrances to the underground area, so head inside via whichever route you deem fit. Once inside, you will need to make your way to a room with a large sarcophagus. If you entered via the wooden plank entrance, use Indy's whip on the nearby grapple point to swing across to the room with the sarcophagus.
While here, you will notice an item termed a Canopic Jar lying on the ground. In total, there are four Canopic Jars you need to pick up and place in the correct locations around the room. Below is the location of each. If you are simply looking for the correct order to place all four jars, the same is mentioned at the end of the article.
Falcon Canopic Jar
This jar is found on the floor in the sarcophagus room, lying on the ground.
Jackal Canopic Jar
This jar is found by using the whip to traverse via the grapple point to the room on the other side. Use the whip to open the door, and once you acquire the Canopic Jar, throw it across toward the direction of the sarcophagus room.
Human Canopic Jar
This jar is found in the pit directly beneath the grapple point. Pick it up and throw it and the nearby weapon in the direction of the sarcophagus room, and use the grapple point to head back up.
Baboon Canopic Jar
Use the weapon thrown earlier to break the nearby weak wall, and head inside. The Baboon Canopic Jar jar is found straight ahead after entering the new area.
Place each Canopic Jar on the platform in front of the pillar with the matching symbol. If you are unsure, the order from left to right goes as Human, Falcon, Jackal, and Baboon. Once done, the sarcophagus will open, revealing an ancient relic as your reward. The quest will also conclude after this.
