- Play the main questline up till you're free to freely go anywhere in the galaxy, but it's likely you've already far past this point if you're level 35.
- While roaming around with your ship, take a gravity jump to any orbit.
- Keep in mind that the orbit should not be used for a current mission.
- Now, you'll receive a distress call from a distant star station called The Oracle.
- Answer the call, and your journey to Shattered Space should start in Starfield.

Do you need to purchase Shattered Space DLC in Starfield?
If you have the Standard edition or you are playing the game via Xbox Game Pass, then you need to purchase the DLC, which will cost $29.99. However, if you already own the Constellation Edition, which is the premium version of the game, you can download this brand new DLC for completely free.
Keep in mind that if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, then you can get the DLC with a 10% discount. Sadly, the standard version owner won't be able to use the discount if they want to purchase Shattered Space in Starfield.
