The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was developed by Bethesda Game Studios and later published by Bethesda Softworks, it is an action role-playing video game. After successfully delivering four action-filled series, this is the fifth installment of the game in The Elder Scrolls series, following 2006's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It was released worldwide for platforms such as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
The game takes place in Skyrim, set after the events of Oblivion after 200 years in the northernmost province of Tamriel. The main story focuses on the player's character called the Dragonborn, on the quest to defeat Alduin, the World-Eater, a dragon who has a prophecy that he will be the one to destroy the world. Over the course of the game, the player has to improve their skills in order to complete the quests and develop the character. Like the previous predecessors of the game, it follows the tradition of being an open world and allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and the player can choose to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.
How to build a house in Skyrim?
The player has to follow some simple steps to build houses and they are as follows:
First, the player has to obtain permission to purchase land from the steward/jarl of Hjaalmarch, Falkreath Hold, or the Pale, which can happen only after certain quests.
Then the player has to purchase the land from the steward.
Then the player has to visit the new property and use the drafting table to begin building the house.
The player can also use the carpenter's workbench to build the foundation of the house. The player can build the house based on their taste.
If the player has the Hearthfire expansion, which is a part of the Special Edition, the player will be able to buy three plots across different holds and build houses on them. Here's how to unlock each plot:
Heljarchen Hall (The Pale hold)
The cost of the hall is around 5000 Gold coins, and you can locate the house by following the road south from Dawnstar, past Fort Dunstad, then the player has to head south. The land will be near the Giants Gap, right next to Whiterun Hold. The player has to unlock the location by chatting with whoever the Jarl is at Dawnstar’s White Hall to become Thane in the Pale to unlock the house. If the available Jarl is Skald, then the player has to prepare to complete the quest named Waking Nightmare and also a mission to kill a nearby Giant, whereas Jarl Brina will grant you access immediately depending on the player's main story actions.
Lakeview Manor (Falkreath hold)
The cost of this manor is around 5000 Gold. In order to locate the manor the player has to follow the road east from Falkreath, then north at the crossroads. Turn left just past Pinewatch. The player has to reach the Thane of Falkreath, then the player will receive a letter from a courier saying the plot is available to buy. If not, after becoming level 9 or above, the letter will reach you. The player has to visit the Jarl Siddgeir in Jarl's Longhouse and complete the quest offered to them and the plot will then become available from the Steward.
Windstad Manor (Hjaalmarch hold)
The cost of the manor is around 5000 Gold. You can locate the manor on the coast, across the Karth delta from Solitude. In order to unlock the place, the player has to head towards Highmoon Hall in Morthal and chat with Jarl Idgrod Ravencrane to start the Laid to Rest quest. Once the quest has started, the player must chat to the steward and ask about a house. There won't be one, but instead, you'll get offered a plot of land.
