Pro Clubs, one of the most popular modes in FIFA games, has been merged with Volta because the latter has declined in popularity in recent years. Furthermore, similar to EA Sports' changes to various aspects of Ultimate Team, the game developer has made changes to FIFA 23's Pro Clubs. This includes a major overhaul of how XP and Skill Points work in FIFA 23 Pro Clubs, as well as some new Perks.
FIFA 23 Pro Clubs x Volta Football explained
While Ultimate Team is arguably FIFA's most popular game mode, Pro Clubs isn't far behind and has only grown in popularity over the years. The game mode essentially allows the player to create an avatar, known as a Virtual Pro, and then use it in online games. The main distinction is that the gamer can only play as one team member at a time, while the other ten are controlled by other humans.
If there are only three or four actual people, the remaining positions are filled by bots. Furthermore, Drop-Ins have been added to FIFA 22, allowing a player to simply drop into a game with their pro alongside random players from around the world. The player can also level up their Virtual Pro by earning XP, which they can then use to improve various attributes and earn perks.
Earning Skill Points in FIFA 23 Pro Clubs
In the past, earning XP and thus Skill Points was a lot harder as it depended solely on in-game performance, although that has now been tweaked in FIFA 23. Gamers can now level up by playing the new Skill Games (with a weekly Player Growth XP cap) in Pro Clubs and since Volta has been merged with Pro Clubs, that can also be used to level up. XP is still awarded for in-game actions, but that has changed to include all players and not just those with attacking returns.
Furthermore, EA Sports has taken feedback and various comments from gamers all over the world and have incorporated a few more tweaks like:
The amount of XP required to advance from level to level has significantly decreased.
The amount of XP needed to reach the highest level has been reduced.
The maximum level has been raised from 25 to 100.
Players can earn up to 185 Skill Points. (This was previously 100 Skill Points.)
Throughout the first 25 levels, all Perks will be unlocked. Players will continue to unlock more perk slots and earn more Skill Points after reaching level 25.
How To Level Up Quickly In FIFA 23 Pro Clubs
Because the level system has been improved over FIFA 22, players can now level up faster, but it will take longer to reach the highest level. Unfortunately, because the game has only recently been released, there is currently a bug that grants XP if you leave the game immediately after the start, and gamers have been abusing it.
While Drop-Ins and friendlies provide the same amount of XP as a regular online season game, playing friendlies is the quickest way to level up. You'll always get a 10 from your friends this way. It's extremely boring, but it gives you a lot of experience points.
