Last Modified Dec 23, 2022 08:48 GMT

Elden Ring, a free-world RPG game, can be played as a single-player, Since the game narrative is based on being online most of the time, it is used to summon players from anywhere in the world who can be friends who can team up to take down enemies together, to the final showdown on taking the boss. However, there is a way to create foes by following the tradition of invasion, any player can arrive unexpectedly in another player's world and try to kill them. If that sounds fun, then the below info will excite you even more

What do we need to invade others in Elden Ring?

If you are in the process of invading another player in Elden Ring, the first thing you'll need is Festering Bloody Finger. There are a few places in the game you can go to get one fair and square while on an adventure.

Where can we find Festering Blood finger in Elden Ring?

Mistwood Merchant

At the Mistwood area on the southern edge, there will be a merchant just before you reach a castle that will be overrun by Demi-Humans. This merchant will sell us five Festering Bloody Fingers for 1,000 Runes each. This is the easiest way to get some Festering Bloody Fingers early on in the game.

Rose Church

As the game progresses, after getting your first Great Rune, as you pass through Liurnia of the Lakes and while going towards Raya Lucaria Academy, you will have to take a detour farther into the swampy marshland and head west. On doing so, you'll eventually reach the Rose Church.

By the Church, you'll find a man who has previously called you Maidens. Speak to him, and when he asks about your impressions of the Two Fingers, answer him by saying that something doesn't feel right. He will then give you a total of five Festering Bloody Fingers for free.

How to invade in Elden Ring?

First of all, you'll have to be online, so make sure you've launched Elden Ring in online mode and that you have a stable internet connection. When you have the rancid finger or three, it's time to invade. You'll have to go into your Inventory or Multiplayer tab, either way, works, and use the Festering Bloody Finger.

If everything is correct, you'll receive a message that says you are invading another player. Festering Bloody Fingers will ignore multiplayer passwords so that you won't be matched only with your friends if you currently have a password set. This also means a password won't protect you.

All the Festering Bloody Fingers are single-use items, so when you're successful in invading, the finger will be used up. When you invade a player, they'll be of the same basic level range, which was built to help keep things a bit random without letting you be overpowered when fighting someone, or the other way around.

You can only also directly invade someone who has yet to beat the boss for an area. Since Elden Ring is an open-world game, you won't have complete access to the entirety of the world when you invade. Instead, it'll be with grey fog which represents that you can't leave that particular zone.

How to be summoned for player vs player in Elden ring?

The classic PvP can help you have Random invasions rather than using a way to fight a Host of Fingers in. The players can unlock a special item that allows other players to summon for fighting. It's called the Duelist's Furled Finger, comparatively less easy to get their hands on.

First, we have to head to the Warmaster's Shack, which is slightly southeast of Stormveil castle then head directly north. You can either run past or kill the enemy camp in your path. You'll have to keep going north until you come upon some massive ruins. There you'll find the Duelist's Furled Finger will be on a body in front of the door.
