How to track plants, animals, insects and fish in Infinity Nikki

In Infinity Nikki, you can not only gather materials, such as flowers and fruit, from the open world but you can also gather materials obtained from animals, insects and fish. While collecting fruits and flowers from plants doesn't require any specific ability, you will need to craft special outfits and unlock the abilities for grooming animals, bug catching and fishing.

Since crafting outfits in the game requires a lot of these materials gathered from exploration, it is always good to stock up on these items. To make this easy, Infinity Nikki provides a special tracking feature through which you can track the locations of various plants, insects, animals and fish on the map.

This article provides a guide on how to use this very convenient tracking feature in Infinity Nikki.

How can you track plants and living beings in Infinity Nikki?

Materials in Infinity Nikki are divided into four segments: plants, animals, bugs and fish. All four of these segments can be tracked individually on the map. Follow these steps to activate the tracking feature:

Step 1: Open the Map

In Infinity Nikki, you cannot track items from your inventory. Instead, you will need to track them using a special button on the map, which can be accessed by pressing the M key for a quick shortcut.

Step 2: Select the Collections option

On the bottom left corner of the map, you will find two circular icons. The one on the right is the Collections tab, which is the one you will need to access in order to start tracking materials.

Step 3: Start tracking whatever plant/animal/insect/fish you want

Click on "Track" to star tracking whatever you want (Imagev ia Infold Games)

In the Collections tab, you will find the four different segments as mentioned above. Go to any of the sections, select a plant/animal/insect fish and click on the "Track" option. A circular area will be marked on the map, where you can now find and collect whatever you have tracked.

How to unlock Precise Tracking?

Precise Tracking is a feature in Infinity Nikki that shows the exact location of the plant/animal/insect/fish instead of a circle marking its general radius on the map. You can unlock the Precise Tracking feature only after you have collected 50 items of a particular object.

So, for example, if you want to precisely track a Daisy, you will need to collect 50 Daisies first. Once you do so, the Precise Tracking feature for Daisies will be unlocked, and the exact location of the Daisies will now be marked on the map for you once you click on the "Precise Track" option.
