Easy swing is a feature in Marvel Rivals that automatically attaches Spider-Man and Venom's grapple to the nearest attachable surface. You are not required to manually select a point and aim at it to start swinging. This essentially takes away one major decision from your control.

For beginners, this is a good thing since it is one less thing to worry about. Given that both Venom and Spider-Man are complex characters who rely on melee combos, one less decision helps players ease into the character more.

As you warm up to Spider-Man and Venom, you would need to swing much more strategically to dive or flank your enemies. As such, web-swinging randomly might not let you reach positions that you want to, thus preventing you from executing a positional combo.

In these scenarios, you would want to turn off the easy swing feature in Marvel Rivals so that you can control your character to the fullest extent. Admittedly, this does give you more things to worry about, but it is also essential if you want to maximize the potential of Spider-Man or Venom's movement.
