1) By opening an event pack
If you are lucky enough, you can get your hands on the Heirloom recolor by simply opening a single Event Pack (100 Apex Coins).
Alternatively, you can unlock this item by purchasing up to four Winter's Haunt Event Packs in the game (600 Apex Coins).

2) By buying out the entire event
Your next option is to buy out the entire Winter's Haunt Milestone event. You'll have to unlock every single cosmetic one by one until you stumble upon the Bloodhound Heirloom recolor in Apex Legends.
There are 30 collectible cosmetics available at this event. As made clear by the patch notes, there are no duplicates of event items in these packs. It should also be noted that each pack will feature one item from the event collection and the rest from the regular loot pool.

3) By using Heirloom Shards
If you have Heirloom Shards, you can also use them to unlock Winter's Bane. The Heirloom recolor will leave the event store as soon as Winter Express comes to an end. Once it does, it will pop up in the in-game Mythic store.
If you already have Heirloom Shards or manage to get a stack of them by then, you can use the currency to get your hands on this item.
