How to unlock all characters in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

Spike Chunsoft's latest video game, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, is now officially available for those who own the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition copies. After months of anticipation, fans have finally received a spectacular Dragon Ball game. The game features one of the largest character rosters seen in fighting games, offering players a diverse selection to choose from.

Featuring 181 playable characters at the time, players have the liberty to play as their favorite character. But how do you unlock these characters in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero? Let's take a look.

All of the characters in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero can be bought from the in-game shop. However, to do so, you will need Zeni (in-game currency). As you keep on fighting battles, your player level will keep increasing, which will result in more characters being unlocked in the shop. Once you reach level 20, you will be able to use most of the characters. However, this might take around 15-17 hours of your time.

Many of the characters get automatically unlocked in the form of rewards after winning battles. To unlock all characters through Zeni, you'll need approximately 3 million total Zeni. Also, unlocking a certain character automatically unlocks all of that character's variants.

So, you need to unlock 47 characters to unlock all 181 characters, including their variants. The only character that can not be unlocked is Goku Mini, as he is exclusive to the Pre-Order Bonus. This means he will only be available if you own the Digital or Ultimate edition of the game.
