Although both locations are located on the ground floor of the Solar Hotel, players must reach Reputation Level 5 to unlock them. In Test Drive Unlimited, Reputation is essentially player Level and to raise it, players must gather XP. This can be done in many ways, from exploring the large sandbox open world and discovering new locations and landmarks to completing races and performing tricks like drifts while driving, near misses with other vehicles, and more.

Since players will be around Reputation Level 3 when they first leave the hotel to see what the outdoors have in store for them, they need to grind only two more levels to open up the clothes store and beauty salon in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. The main objective at this stage should suggest checking out a couple of races in the area so we recommend replaying them to grind for XP.

Winning also grants players a good chunk of money (known as Solar Coins) so that is a bonus to bear in mind.
