How to unlock Dance of Wrath mythic technique in Ghost of Tsushima

To unlock the Dance of Wrath mythic technique in Ghost of Tsushima players will have to complete The Spirit of Yarikawa's Vengeance mythic tale. This is one of seven mythic tales that can be found around the Mongol-infested island of Tsushima. The Dance of Wrath mythic technique allows Jin to perform three deadly unblockable attacks that even have a chance of inflicting terror on nearby enemies.

You can follow the steps below to unlock the Dance of Wrath mythic technique in Ghost of Tsushima:

The first step to unlocking the Dance of Wrath mythic technique in Ghost of Tsushima is to find the musician. Mythic Tale quests can only be pursued after you listen to their tales through a musician. You can start The Spirit of Yarikawa's Vengeance by speaking to the musician located to the west of Rebel's Last Stand.

This area becomes available once you reach the second of three acts in Ghost of Tsushima.

Step 2: Search for the first smoke signal

Once you're done listening to the musician's tale, you'll need to track down your first smoke signal. The smoke signal indicates a shrine with an offering to the spirit of Yarikawa. This will help you track the spirit. The first smoke signal can be located to the northwest of the musician.

Once you approach the shrine, you'll find a note asking for the death of Heitaro who is believed to be a traitor. Head to the survival camp nearby and speak to Heitaro to proceed with the quest.

Upon reaching the second smoke signal, you will find another offering; this one will lead you to a Mongol camp along the river. Head west, and you will come across a small camp that has been slaughtered. You will also find a prisoner in the camp; speaking to the prisoner will reveal that the spirit is responsible for the massacre. You can now proceed to the next step.

The next step to unlocking the Dance of Wrath mythic technique in Ghost of Tsushima is to track down yet another smoke signal. However, this smoke signal won't be accompanied by an offering. When you find the shrine and approach it, you'll hear the sound of battle nearby. Upon rushing to the sound, you will be able to see the spirit scurrying away.

If you enter the house where the spirit has just murdered someone, you will find old shrine offerings, a Yarikawa helmet, and other texts that will confirm the spirit is indeed human.

Now you are extremely close to unlocking the Dance of Wrath mythic technique in Ghost of Tsushima. Follow the final smoke signal and track down the last shrine. Upon reading the offering, you will find that someone has requested the spirit of Yarikawa to eliminate Jin Sakai. The note will lure you towards the Garden of the Gods.

You will pass by an abandoned village on your way to the garden. You can speak to the villagers to get directions if you're having trouble finding it. Once you're at the Garden of the Gods, the spirit of Yarikawa will approach you, and a duel will begin.

Defeating the spirit will permanently unlock the Dance of Wrath mythic technique in Ghost of Tsushima. You now have access to one of the deadliest techniques in the game.

Apart from the Dance of Wrath, there are three more techniques for you to unlock. Way of the Flame mythic technique, the Explosive Arrow mythic technique, and the Heavenly Strike mythic technique. Unlocking all four will help you have an easier time in the game.
