The card can be unlocked by completing a set of challenges in various game modes, similar to the previously released Youssouf Fofana objective card. These are the specific stipulations and rewards of each challenge mentioned in the objective set:

• Premier League dominance: Score and assist a goal using players from the Premier League in three separate Squad Battles matches on minimum Semi Pro difficulty (or Rivals/Champions). Earn 250 XP and a 81+ x 2 players pack.
• Clean Sheets: Achieve two clean sheets in Squad Battles on minimum Semi pro difficulty (or Rivals/Champions). Earn 250 XP and a 81+ x 2 players pack.
• Play 6: Play six matches in Squad battles on minimum Semi Pro difficulty (or Rivals/Champions). Earn a 75+ x 5 players pack.
• Argentina Legend: Win five matches in Squad Battles on minimum Semi Pro difficulty (or Rivals/Champions) while having a minimum of three players from Argentina in your starting eleven. Earn a 82+ x 2 players pack.

Not only can gamers obtain some amazing packs by completing each segment, but there are also 500 XP up for grabs which will help them progress in Season 8 of Ultimate Team.

The challenges can be completed in Squad Battles, Rivals, or UT Champions, which makes the EA FC 24 Cristian Romero Team of the Tournament card worth unlocking due to the ease of the stipulations and the overpowered nature of the offered card.
